COVID-19 updates

Camp Paddy Run Board of Directors met and voted to open camp for the upcoming season, this includes tent camping, small group reservations as well as scheduled programs such as Day Camp and Adventure Camp. Group sizes and other precautions will continue to be governed by the CDC and local regulations.Thorough cleaning is performed between every group rental in all indoor spaces. Currently in the state of Virginia, group size can be up to 100 people outdoors. This information is available by going to https://www.virginia.gov/coronavirus/forwardvirginia/

Currently, Camp Paddy Run is accepting reservations for small group camping- that is tent sites, small pull-behind campers and rentals for the lodge or 'DougOut,' our other cabin with bunkbeds, lights and heat/AC. We are doing everything possible to provide a safe camping experience.

With Virginia now in Phase 3 of re-opening, we are still not allowed to host overnight summer camps. However, Camp Paddy Run is available for small groups rentals, overnight campground accommodations, and pool rentals. Please contact reservations@camppaddyrun.org for questions.

The Board of Directors for Camp Paddy Run met via teleconference on May 9, 2020 and unanimously decided to reopen Camp Paddy Run for the summer camping season. This includes hosting scheduled programs such as Day Camp and Adventure Camp, as well as making our camp available for outside group rentals.

Camp Paddy Run will comply with all regulatory policies set forth by our state and local officials, as well as adhere to CDC guidelines for health and safety.

Currently we are waiting on updated information that may affect group size, planned activities and safety. If you plan to attend Day Camp this year, please send in your registration ASAP as it will greatly help us plan for the challenges ahead.
