We recommend that you print or screen capture these directions in the probable event you lose cellular coverage as you get closer to camp:

First time visiting?... READ THIS: Submitting the camp address and following GPS guides may take you the 'back way' into the camp through Woodstock, VA via smaller secondary roads- many of which are unpaved, narrow, and wind over a steep mountain pass.

It is recommended you use the directions from Interstate 81 provided here:

Take exit 296 for VA- 55/ US-48 and head WEST toward Wardensville, WV.
 

Go approximately 8.5 miles to the Cedar Creek bridge. Immediately after crossing Cedar Creek, turn left on Star Tannery Road. In about a mile it turns slightly left at Brill Road and becomes Gravel Springs Road. In about another mile (at intersection with Pifer Road) it becomes Oates Road (Rt. 600). Stay to your left at the 'Y' in the road- you will see the 'Gravel Springs Grocery & Trading Post' (formerly 'Star Market') just up ahead on your left. You will pass the Star Tannery Volunteer Fire Department on your right. Go another mile to the intersection with Paddy's Run Road (Rt. 602).

Turn left onto Paddy's Run Road- look for a field with horses. This is a gravel road- PLEASE DRIVE SLOW. There is a blind turn with a 10mph sign. For added safety, roll down your window and listen to see if another vehicle is coming since it's difficult to see. It's a mile and a half to the camp from the turn on the gravel road. You'll go up a  steep hill, the woods clear, there is a field on your right with a fence, a sign and a gate. Turn right through the gate. Continue driving along the road until you get to the Pole Barn/ Picnic Shelter. From there, you will also see the lodge just through the trees.
