Camp Paddy Run, Inc. is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization governed by a Board of Directors,  but all our welcome to experience this place of great beauty and peacefulness!

The camp hosts several events each year including a Day Camp, Adventure Camp and Fall Youth Retreat. However, we fund our operational costs by providing year-round rentals to outside groups as well as accepting donations.

Our camp is an ideal location to host a variety of events including day camps or vacation Bible schools ( VBS), sleep-away camps, weekend retreats, picnics, family reunions, pool parties, scouting groups, bird watching, nature classes, sporting events- and the list goes on!

Paddy Run is described as a rustic wilderness retreat- and make no mistake, it is! But its lack of  modern conveniences pales in comparison to the majestic splendor of its wooded settings, star-filled nights and peaceful serenity. Winter, spring, summer or fall- nature is always at its most spectacular here at Paddy Run.

Most of the property's 175 acres are wooded, though the majority of the structures surround the massive 25-acre field that spans the length and width of several football fields. The field is site to countless games- volleyball, soccer, softball, basketball, gaga ball, tetherball and corn hole. As night falls, look forward to unbelievable star gazing and breath-taking sunsets.

The lodge houses a kitchen, multipurpose room, sleeping quarters, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The spacious multipurpose room has a woodstove, lounge furniture and collapsible tables and stacked chairs to suit your needs. We also have a small library, songbooks, Bibles and games for your use. The back deck provides additional picnic tables and a sweeping view of the Cedar Creek Valley. A second all-seasons cabin just down the road from the lodge provides additional sleeping arrangements.

Four rustic summer cabins provide sleeping accommodations in the warmer months- housing about 10-12 beds per cabin. We have 'Hilltop Outpost' and 'Creekside' where you can fall asleep to the sound of Paddy Run's rushing waters.

At each cabin site is a fire circle for outdoor cooking and evening s'mores. The cabin sites are also furnished with primitive bathrooms and picnic shelters.

The main picnic shelter, or 'pole barn' as we call it, is often the central gathering place. The brick BBQ grill is located just steps away from the pole barn- making it an ideal spot for picnics. Adjacent is a volleyball net as well as acres and acres of open space. We've recently added a gaga ball pit and tetherball to our outdoor amenities.

A large fire ring and worship area with benches is poised at center field. Morning or evening worships here is the ideal beginning  and end to each day in God's glorious creation.

Across the field along the tree line, you'll find the Day Camp area- a flat, shaded area ideal for a wide variety of gatherings. We have canopies and table available to rent if you would like to use this area.

The pool is only about 4-feet deep but provides a cool break from the hot summer days. Its size-  20 x 40 feet oval shape- can accommodate up to 40 people. Adjoining the pool is the bathhouse, with boys and girls restrooms complete with toilets, sinks and showers.  The pool is also equipped with outdoor lights for night swims.

Paddy's Run flows along the  property's edge. This fresh water source nourishes abundant wildlife. Frequent beaver dams remind us that we share Paddy Run with all of God's creatures. The run provides cool flowing water and children  and adults alike love the excitement and challenge of 'rock hopping!'

Being at Paddy Run is a time to unplug, breath deep and take advantage of your surroundings. The wooded areas provide challenging locations for scavenger hunts, trust walks, or good old fashioned games of hide and seek.

Nighttime entertainment consists of songs and skits. And once the sun has fully set and the field is blanketed in darkness, that's the time for  flashlight games and glow sticks.

And of course, camping isn't complete without a cozy campfire- but they're not just for s'mores anymore!...have you ever made chicken n' dumplings or apple cobbler?!...
